Anger

The anger strains to be released.
It never wants to have peace.
It needs to hurt and destroy.
To steal the world of all its joy.

Release me, release me the anger cries!
To destroy everything and make things die!
I wonder if I should let it go.
But then it will be hard to slow.

The lights outside turn to red.
The pulse beating in my head.
And now I turn the anger loose.
It really was not that hard to choose.
