An Ecstatic Emotion

Walking along
tender fields of subtle shades,
I raise eyes to morning light,
a doorway to the heavens
exploding delicate beams of magnificence,
such wonder caresses, lifts this mind.

Winged life shows its appreciation
with uplifting harmonic voice,
I smile, feeling the dew
seep into pores, releasing freshness.

Senses open to the awakening
of sound beneath the multi-shaded horizon,
minute whispers juxtaposed with the last
fading cries of nocturnal existence,
the shining sun permeates wild essence
and I laugh with relish.

Ancient trees of solitude hypnotise sighs,
causing a brief spell of sorrow
to wash over the landscape perceived.

Swelling clouds lazily drift
across a blue expanse, perfecting
the portrait of nature's face;
an ecstatic expression breathing
in perfume of fresh roses,
beauty surpasses beauty,
alive with emotion, I let it flow.
