All The Difference

Attitudes and expectations
Make all the difference in life
The outcome from these mentations
Is an internal peace or strife

With negatives unrestricted
Gloom and doom become obsession
Grief is etched in those afflicted
Melancholy and depression

With positives the expected
Gladness and hope become the tools
Lofty goals are self-directed
Pride and strength are the accruals

Most happenings and circumstance
Are neutral till judgment is cast
Goodness is seen or looked askance
Happily accepting or aghast
