All Is Fair In Love And War

What is fair in love and war
is witnessed "cut and try."
The one with the losing score
reflects "the mute tongue-tie."
Fortunes gained without effort can "twist reason awry."
The one with the losing score
reflects "pie in the sky."
Romance from the paid escort is a "dry kiss goodbye."
The one with the losing score
reflects "left high and dry."
Picador lancing and stabs can "weaken, slay or try."
The one with the losing score
reflects "target's bull's eye."
Violent public disorders cause "innocents to sigh."
The one with the losing score
reflects "the hue and cry."
"All is fair in love and war" is a bombastic lie.
The one with the losing score
reflects "the do-or-die."
