Air

My mother didn't like me much
And one day I got sick.
I was going to die they said,
Unless I cost a fortune.
So I was on the machines,
Draining the family savings;
Of course I felt bad.
But my mother glared at me.
I just want to live.
I really want to grow up.
I hope my girlfriend will wait for me.
I hope my mom doesn't hate me.
But she probably does.
It's just me and her in the room now.
I'm apologizing for all I've done.
She looks at me and says;
“Shut up, and go to sleep.”
And she presses a pillow over my head.
I'm too weak to fight it.
Too sick to push her off.
I don't wanna die.
I don't want to die.

I'm a simple kind of guy who got into writing in the 7th grade. At the time I am writing this I am 15 years old. I really like to write and I enjoy feedback. I am much more free-verse and i write pretty much anything that comes into my head. My favorite thing about Poetry is that it could be anything. I am a very happy person generally and it shows through my writing. This month I have gotten into horror writing, so please forgive my string of dark thoughts. It's not as cheery as usual but that is indeed the point! more…
