Ah, The Magic of a Summer Day

The puffy clouds, The soft, blue sky, A dainty little butterfly, Flits around in a zig-zag way, Ah, The magic of a summer day. Bees are buzzing, mowers hum, The ice cream man is soon to come, Happy are the children at play, Ah, the magic of a summer day. The grass is cool beneath my feet, A breeze offsets the season's heat,For all of this, and more, I pray, In gratitude for this summer day.
