Acting Much The Same

I just stopped by to see if you had changed.
You were acting much the same although slightly deranged.
I just stopped by to see if you had moved.
You were living much the same although slightly improved.
I just stopped by to see if you had loved.
You were doting much the same although slightly kid-gloved.
I just stopped by to see if you had learned.
You were thinking much the same although slightly concerned.
I just stopped by to see if you had reaped.
You were hoarding much the same although slightly scrap-heaped.
I just stopped by to see if you had healed.
You were feeling much the same although slightly unreeled.
I just stopped by to see if you had worked.
You were earning much the same although slightly knee-jerked.
I just stopped by to see if you had changed.
You were acting much the same although slightly estranged.
