A walk through springtime (Free verse)

As I saunter
O'er
The meadow lands
I feel that
Spring is here
I tread along
A woodland path
With
Snowdrops
White and clear
My way winds
On
And then drops
Down
To a valley
Full of trees
Where bluebells grow
And
Shed their scent
So fragrant
On
The breeze
I thought I heard
A cuckoo
Maybe it's the first
A robin tweets
A blackbird sings
And
A skylark joins
The verse
I stumble on some
Birch trees
Tall
And looking grand
They've
Formed a silver archway
Made
By nature's hand
As I
Walk through in splendour
I pause
A while and stand
As if in
Natures kingdom
In some enchanted land.
