A Song

I felt my spirit lift
From my body
On every note sang and played
/While I did hum along
Taking me a far to many different places
As no I wasn't stoned just feeling uplifted
/From your songs I did hear
As every note did touch
Ones heart and soul
/And brought some needed joy
Along with a much needed smile
On this here face
/Whom had forgotten
Just how nice such pleasent sweet music
Could ever be made and played.
