A Rose In Heaven's Garden

Your Grandmother left this life
to live with Christ for eternity
In a place where only the righteous
are called to be
Reaping the benefits for living
in accordance to God's Will
Nevermore to feel the painful
afflictions of being ill

We come together to comfort each other
in times of sorrow
Thankful to be alive today
and praying to see a tomorrow
This day is to eulogize a woman
we all greatly adore
With all the love we have for her
God Loves her much more

In Your Grandmother's darkest hour
she silently slept away
Gone from the midst of old nights
and into a new light of day
In Heaven's beautiful garden
a precious flower grows
Among the Heavenly Hosts
God Picked an Angelic Rose
