A river on the hillside

There is a river on the hillside
Where two rushing waters meet
That run parallel with the hills
And the river meanders along its corridor

Along the bank long memories shared
Rolling hills surrounded by lush plantations
Mirrored in a manner so fine
Looking you straight in the eye

Some showed artistic nature
Others grand structure of stones
Yet one thing they all have in common
Each one is unique in their skills
The noblest work of God above

Rumbles of foaming surf reaches my ear
And my eyelids grow heavy with the peace that comes
As the fluffy clouds drift the blue sky above
They ignore me once they realize in peace I come
To listen to the secrets of the grooves
As the sounds of silence cross my body's meridian
