A Rider's Wooden Block
"Nothing"
"They had nothing to say to one another" The Pen whispered Paper as it drifted off to night time reverie.
"Sleep long, and sleep hard upon the softness of the bed;
lament Fingers detachment away from the Head...But,"
"Wait for me; wait for me"....
"Forever could end in a day; a day!"
"Just a day away, you'll see!"
"A day away, then back with me you'll be"
"And when you wake"....
"We'll write the words that melt the hearts, and sing the songs that top the charts;"
"We'll create the images from peoples minds;
Us!"
"...We, the helping hands to mans grand design;"
"but..."
"for today, the sky's are grey, the clouds have come, and brought the rain, not much now, to do or say"....
" 'Cept"
"Sleep long and sleep hard;"
"But wait for me, wait for me."
