A Prayer

Of recent, I have the pleasure of meeting a dream
A dream so beautiful, I dare not awaken
How does man. . .
How does woman meet?
Is it through thought?
Through wishing?
Through some mysterious means?
Or through a simple prayer of
I miss the mate that only my soul knows?
Should we question a chance meeting?
One that if not taken, may never be realized
Life is such a mystery, but a thing that must be lived
For if not
The beauty for which we search may be lost to us.
So, if this be only a dream
I pray thee never to wake.
But if this be my life to live
I pray thee, grant the happiness and beauty of true love.
