A Lost Friend

Knowing a friend since baby years
Knowing a friend that disappeared
Trying to find someone else to take her place
Only got me a million smacks in my face
Knowing a friend whom was true
Hurts inside because we were stuck like glue!
This friend is so special that I would give my last dime
Knowing that it is nearly that time
I am anxious and nearly about to choke
Hoping that our past can be reunited
Devoted, yet so, excited
A Lost Friend!

Tynet Hayes
