A journey through the shadow
Karolina Marszałkowska 1993 (Gdańsk)
Now finally there is nothing more
Just this mist covering whole world
Mist made from a shade everyone knows
Just so we know that ending is close
Firstly we fear but it doesn't take long
To calm us a singer is singing a song
The actor acts as if there's no change
Elders are smiling like if they didn't age
Teacher still talks to his students even now
Geographers wonder if the earth is still brown
Scientists still are trying to discover something new
I'm sitting and writing what I see for you
Cause what awaits us is a journey through shade
No explosions or catastrophies that could be made
Just a quiet ending of a life we were given
And unveiling every feeling that was ever hidden
Politicians still try to gain some power
Even at the front door of high misty tower
Informatics still try to use their phones
And they want to find out why the shade slightly glows
Children play with each other, for them it's a game
Philosophers wonder how long we'll remain
Biologists cry because there are no plants
Dancers are happy cause they're still able to dance
Before us a shadow takes a new form
It slowly changes into black glowing door
First person-sportsman- opens them wide
And fear is back cause there's no way to hide
Brave men are shaking before door of death
Cause it wipes out all we were or had
No one is willing to be first to lose soul
So now I understand that this is my role
People I loved say: Stop ! Go back!
I always had something that now they lack
I don't fear to disappear, I'm coming through door
Ah this is salvation I was waiting for
