A father's love

On the shoulders of me.... I would lift the whole world for you
draw the stars and the moon all at your feet
yes I'll do all that for you

for you are my child... you're my seed
that's why I smiled wider than i ever did
when I first heard your voice cried sweet tunes
it was like you called me

my herat rejoices when I see your little hand to my finger tightly clinched
I feel renewed
because from those eyes I see God looking down at me
calling me blessed

I hold this sweet feeling close to my chest
never to treat you in any way that's less than what you originally are

a priceless gift from God
a chance to do right all my wrongs
a chance to bring up a solution for this troubled world
because I have waited so long

so in the true path of the creator I'll raise you
and to the last drop of my blood make sure that this dream comes true
by you I'll stand steady feet never wobbling
with unstained hands I'll forever be giving
and with a heart of love I'll always be instructing

for I am your father and you are the perfect side of me
