A Day-time Dream

Memories could be the key
A memory that opens to me
And I believe it is simply because of you
Red's desire and blue's sorrow
These colors' hue

You wrap your hands around me
As I will lovingly laugh
You watch me work, I suck at math
You say you don't care
For fractions and complicated angles
Only that, you are my moon, my angel

I love the way your hand fits mine
You can catch me when I fall out of line
My love you would never decline

I love the way.. With your dimpled smile
Hold me, embrace, just for awhile
Hand in hand we can walk this mile

Critics sold this complicated feat
Two souls a heart complete

I believe that there is a time for everything and some things can be expressed through poetry I come from a different family and things are different everywhere. I believe poems can be gateways into the mind, what we cannot say but wish to say it anyway so badly and so words change but the meaning will forever stay the same.I write as my hands allow me, word after word. Ink following the shadows of my paper begging me silently to write more. These are my poems. more…
