A Body Of Thought

I close my eyes and open my mind's smile:
the incalculably dimensional
realm expands across three alternate ways,
into a fourth and beyond time's complex
frown; rippled skin, and easy delicate
imagination strikes another wide
journey through portions of material.
Space! A science fiction vision welcomes
me as I hover over wild choices,
shall I spiral down and visit the past?
Perhaps the future would wave a bright star,
or maybe the present's whispered sparkles
of individuality will do.

My perfect place is multi layered with
degrees of simplicity and several
viewpoints that linger around eyelashes;
occupied by a body of thought; vast.
A macrocosmic universal structure
considers my presence; so colourful,
and I glide the spirit towards old dreams.
I can travel a cardinal number
followed by nine zeros and still stay in
my own front room's comfortable warm bliss.
With a snap of fingers before a sun
I can return to the moments right now,
there is no need to buy a ticket where
I delve, all I wish for is but a breath
riding a stolen second as I rest.
