A Ballerina's Life

She expresses rhythm, ideas, and stories-Among adoring eyes.
Performing among an audience awaiting wonder and surprise.
In the slippers that she wears-she performs an amazing feat.
As the on-lookers watch at the edge of their seat.
They watch as she becomes the music and together they are one.
Entangled in a moment full of sheer pleasure, intrigue, and fun.
Her tutu moves in tune with her as she sways.
Along to the music as it plays.
The crowd is in awe as she performs the last of her act.
She is a beauty to be seen-And, that is just how they react.
When she completes her performance her audience is standing.
She gives a cursty-A ballerina's life is so demanding.
