2 states ( Two merging into one)

His very first phone call to her, to say ‘hello'
She said you more or less sound like my elder bro.

The guy from north and that girl from south
It's very interesting to hear that accent from her mouth

 ‘It's good to connect with you and talk'
She said, ‘Thank you, but don't ask me to come out this time of the night for a walk'

Don't worry, I don't ask this on my first talk to a girl
She replied ‘Last time a guy hearing my voice for the first time, wanted to give me diamond and pearl

I won't gift you any of those, so don't fly like a kite
You got my attention now boy, cos I want a regular guy, who is decent and bright

The first talk went for an hour and it went well
No one tried to go over the top, to feel the need to make him or her sell

After talking to her, not sure- but some strangely good feeling was beginning to arise
It was like having the perfect combination of eating your favourite burger with fries

These talks went for the next few days
No useless praises or “I bow down to your beauty” type essays

She said ‘I really like talking to you these days cos you seem genuine and nice
Boy oh boy, hearing this- he bloated like Indian rice

So are you telling me, tomorrow is the day to make our first meet?
At the same time he checked his wallet to forecast the debit to his balance sheet

Sure, let's meet for a coffee that should be all rite
Should I then confirm this meeting by sending you a Calendar Invite?
He asked her- you know just to be polite

On the first meet, she was dressed in pink and white
He wondered if there is a policy to patent that smile, which was so bright
Before it goes out of sight
He witnessed for the first time- few things are actually brighter than the sunlight

Your picture looks slightly better, she said,
His excitement went from 100 to angry colour RED

Innocently she consoled - but that's OK, anyways how can you expect to full fill all your heart's wishes It's like someone telling u ‘Darling you are amazing, you are sweet- now please go and clean my left over dishes'

Within 5 minutes she told him, what she was looking in her guy
He felt strange cos there was no mention of  -expensive gifts or shopping tour to Dubai

Different thoughts, way different culture of these 2 states
Both were just wondering with no argument or debates

Days went by talking and then the night
Slowly some chemicals and some emotions came close and became tight
The feel good factor was kicking in, and the mood was at it's best
It felt a bird wondering for ages have finally found its nest

I think ‘I like you' one day she say
I'll remain very happy with you and I'll be Ok

Hearing these sweet words and love anthem
The guy slightly thought to show a lil bit of tantrum

After all, why should this be only the girl's domain?
Why should guys be the victim of being claimed the universal ‘insane'?

I need my time and need to think a lot
You too re-think before taking such a long shot

She said” Very small hope is sufficient to cause the birth of love
If you become my sky, I'll become the dove

I don't know if you are seeing some differences girl, but I definitely do
You look so sober and elegant, but I am chimpanzee from a zoo

Look even your food is so pure and served on a banana leaf
But I'm a Punjabi; we start our day with chicken and beef

You want me to hold your hand and walk with you on Sydney Harbour Bridge
But the most romantic walks I enjoy is to get the beer from my fridge

She said ‘I'm glad to accept these differences and still remain happy'
I won't complain from my end to even change our kid's nappy

Differences are good to have; too much commonness is boring and same
I'll become the raw food and you become the flame

It's amazing to imagine that just these few alphabets, will someday arrange themselves in a way, that everything will suddenly make perfect sense.
A permutation of known words, suddenly bringing forward a previously unknown meaning, which was somewhere lost in dense

 How could he then not understand this pure emotion?
 He listened to his heart and feelings were set in motion

Sometimes the heart sees what is invisible to the eye
So you won the argument girl, so we should promise to live forever before we die

We won't feel any difference, as long as we agree to disagree
For only a heart filled with love removes all petty things and is bigger than ocean and sea

You don't have to be perfect for anyone, including me
I'll have to find the perfection in the way u r is the key

Be bold, beautiful and a rock star
You'll find me standing as an audience not far

Rest be cool as the way you are
Fight with me in your mother tongue -Malayalam only, cos it sounds like a rhythmic guitar

Her parents got this chocolate news and both said ‘God Bless'
Her mother was already deciding on what to wear as a wedding dress

He asked his parents and they too were very very happy
More so to know that ‘Wow the girl have accepted to even change the Kid's nappy'
Finally parents met each other and they gave their approval stamp
It was like a big dark room lit up bright, with a tiny kerosene lamp

Fast forward from then to NOW
Today I got married- ohhhhhhh my GOD, holy cow

Let me also change the mood from humour to now romance
Let me say few more lines, before they'll all force us to dance

Heaven must be very small, cos I can see it in your beautiful eye
You become my dove, because I accept to be your sky

My friends tell me that to make her fall in love I have to make her laugh
But every time she laughs, my love for her attains the height of giraffe

I feel shy to say this, but can I call you mine?
I hope she replies to this by saying ‘That's not my name my dear “I'm yours” on cloud nine'

I still worry to this day,
What will I say?

If she asks me someday, how much do u love me in haste
How can you explain someone how does water taste

But

Can I say, I love you like an 8, cos it'll never end
Let's stop these words now and just HUG & BLEND.
