11 Haiku for September 11,2001

1
planes came from the sky
on September eleventh
many people died
2
early Tuesday morn
Manhattan World Trade Center
fate would touch it soon
3
in another hour
the Pentagon was damaged
a fortress on fire
4
out of the clear blue
in New Yirk and Washington
life was torn in two
5
who would do this thing
some say it was bin Laden
watch on CNN
6
terror for a day
democracy will prevail
terrorists will fail
7
we now kneel and pray
life goes on in free countries
terror forced to flee
8
blame not religion
please do not strike out in hate
take time to relate
9
stand tall and walk proud
know the world will sing your song
it knows right from wrong
10
our world is in pain
a sad country recovers
a new time has come
11
wipe out hate and fear
know this too shall pass away
love will conquer all
