"The Acceptable Loss" By Antonio Soler

Who can Describe a soldier's mind in time of war?
Is it a Congressman, a general or the president?
Driven away from all that is familiar
Men to replace men, money to replace armor
is it true what the book said?
It must be true, for it's only when the people
realize how much money is going into a war, causing
economic problem back in the motherland is when a congressman is pressured
to end the war, which then pressures the general to fight harder and smarter
which ofcourse pressures the president to better sale the war to the public.
But in the end the soldier like the book says remains the same.
a few loss tax-payers dollars can spark a protest, perhaps even make some arrest.

but the soldier remains- quote- "The Acceptable loss."
