"SLC 2010" a Sonnet

Steven Louis Chapman

My memory has chosen few,
of the thoughts that I hold dear to,
erased is the fear annihilate,
endless dreams of desolate shame.

I only wish this was truthful,
I can't escape elude the fearful,
never ending isolation,
pass endless roads desolation.

I wake to purge the desperate,
state unforgiven inherent,
loss leader extravagant waste,
of my soul eloquent to taste.

Like an aged salutary fine wine,
I lay uncorked to breathe in time.
