"Moonbeams"

I've hiked the creeks and meadows,
mountains and arid plateaus.
In search of beautiful gems and rocks.
a testimony of God's beautiful art!

And just by chance, once or twice,
seen sunbeams, glistening on crystal ice.
A spark, gone instantly, as if never there,
but remembered, as they disappeared.

I've eagerly searched for rainbows,
with sunbeams, instead of pots of gold.
Most of all, on starry nights within a heavy mist,
searched fervently for moonbeams, a lifelong wish.

I've yet to see a moonbeam, floating anywhere.
I wonder if they truly exist, or if they're just thin air.
I'll keep searching high and low, far and near,
maybe, glimpse a moonbeam, before it disappears....

In ah, I've watched as faces of angel's appear,
mystically, in puffy white clouds, so near.
They're probably busy hiding the moonbeams,
keeping them safe for my nightly moon dreams.

I guess I'll always wonder what makes clouds white!
