"lest thee wake"

Steven Louis Chapman

If you could see,
through the dim light me,
abused by the hands laid,
upon which saved.

The morning clouds,
on which I walk found,
the trebled sound skies,
upon noon eyes.

Shake undo ways,
felt unto thy days,
advice to relive,
of which I give.

Empathy dies,
on so often fly's,
of the wine flowing,
lest wake mourning.
