"C"rite

why have you played such a cruel joke to me
how could it be
why is it that I must see
a light off by the sea

off to to tell & sing
promises of salvation I have seen
the story of why I have sinned
hope for all who have sin

a tale of life of those who stay & sit
a temporary content of life with the light lit
a vision given to those who have seen beyond the slit

a terrible lightning cloud given to my sight
unfortunate ,sad ,disappointing views & ideas tonight

the cruel toll to be aloft the heavenly flight
a fire from the heart & mind to give us might

to be able to feel and gain emotional insight
into the cause of all & the one thing that's right
of how to not to resist the soul, the light & how to have it become a daily fight
