Can't think more

Arpan Dey 2004 (West Bengal)

Can thoughts get
Any more negative?
Can a human be
Any more depressed?

Oh, believe me, I’m trying not to worry
Trying my best not to fall apart
But it’s so hard to not fall apart
So hard to stop worrying
I’m no more trying to control my worries
It’s them that are controlling me.

Is life what
You make of it?
Yes, but for someone
Who’s not in control?

Oh, believe me, I’m trying not to worry
Trying my best not to fall apart
But it’s so hard to not fall apart
So hard to stop worrying
I’m no more trying to control my worries
It’s them that are controlling me.

Oh, what’s it like
To be happy?
I fear the unknown
Worry’s my silent companion.

Oh, believe me, I’m trying not to worry
Trying my best not to fall apart
But it’s so hard to not fall apart
So hard to stop worrying
I’m no more trying to control my worries
It’s them that are controlling me.

Running toward death
Running out of time
But I’m not in control.

I’m lost forever
In an ocean of worries
Wave after wave
Chasing me endlessly
There’s no way out
No way out.

Running toward death
Running out of time
But I’m not in control.

Oh, it’s too hard to resist
I’m letting go
I’m letting go
This has become normal for me
Let me worry
For the rest of my life
It’s no more painful
It’s no more depressing
It’s my new normal
I’m done
Can’t think more
Oh, I can’t think more…
