You sit there drawing,

Quiet and peaceful.

Consumed in your world of heroes and monsters.

I sit beside you in the rare silence,

Resting my head lightly on yours.

You happily coo, “You're comfy,”

Said with a smile copy and pasted from my own.

I smile back into your love filled green-blues.

Kissing your golden crown,

So unlike my deep brown,

I murmur, “You're comfy too”.
