What the Hell ?

TommyD 1957 (Ft. Lee)

What the Hell ?

Love is patient , love is kind ?
I'm about to , lose my mind

Someone now , just cut me off
And hit my car , began to scoff

Resignation , soon finding fault
Breaking wheels  , come to a halt

In the line , the grocery store
No one wants to , clean the floor

Bread is on , the canning shelf
To lazy too , commit thyself ...

To put things back , such a disgrace
This world is such , a lazy place

Cut in line , because their rude
Just because , their lives are crude

Middle fingers , in the air
No one seems , to give a care

What has happened , to this world ?
Incomprehension , fists are curled

Rudeness now , is nothing new
Dealing with , the whole day through

People live , in toxic shock
And wonder why , their houses lock

Human nature , gone to shit
I can't wait , this life to quit

Can't control , their attitude
By why are they , so freekin' rude ?

Sin the nature , of our heart
I must now , begin to start

To live my life , as though I am
Not provoked , don't give a damn

The problem that , I'm looking through
No loving eyes , just like you ?
