Under a Clear Autumn Sky

Together outside on a cold autumn night
The clear sky displays brilliant light
And makes shivering worth it for the view.

Stars dance slowly to an unheard song
No step taken is right or wrong
Once started, all the dance will follow through.

A cold, large moon shines on your face
I know your mind is up in space
The sky is turning black to navy blue.

The sun comes up and brings the dawn
We fell asleep on our front lawn (oops)
But at least I got to spend the night with you.
