Bigger than me

The empire that I’m building is bigger than myself,
bigger than my friends, family and all those I wish to help.
I’m looking to save the world,
that’s a lot of weight on my shoulders,
carrying that kind of weight equals to more than 100 boulders.
I’m determined to reach this goal as I get older,
end homelessness and world hunger,
help build a society where we truly love one another.
But it can’t happen if we keep going at each other.
Everyday I’m thinking about my next plan,
instead of gossiping, worrying about the next man,
I build myself to be better that’s why I gotta stop playing.
Because this is bigger than me,
a dream that will turn into reality if I want it to be.
I’m the master of my fate, captain of my soul,
life started making sense when I finally became whole.
