Summer Time

I want to be the one your body remembers
How you traced your fingers along my body
       Like a portrait
The ghost that will haunt your bed
When you close your eyes
A memory of our bodies in sync,
The inception of our life together, that moment
         Cherished forever in our souls
I want to be the warmth that caresses your skin
The heaviness of our breaths colliding,
         Forever unbidden in your thoughts
Each moment we kissed, tickles your insides
      Like flowers blooming inside you
Even if I won’t be the best you’ve ever had
Let the moment be remembered like it was your
          first time
So let’s go back to the summer times
Where you and I made love
     To the falling sky
