Ourselves

OURSELVES 1983 (Massachusetts)

Ourselves

We were 3 broken lines,
That did not meet,
till God and fate lead us to each.
We learned to love, hope, smile and dream.
To become the people whom we need to be.
We learned to listen and not fight.
We are teaching our daughter what is right.
We don’t have to care what people think.
As long as we’re happy,
 we found the missing link.
