The way the world as, the way it is

Miguel A. Lopez 1966 (cidra)

I'm in a world full of darkness, trying to find light. All the
hurt that crumbles inside. Who can I turn to now.
What girl will I crown? I'm afraid to share or to care.
I'm trying to know if I sill be here. I don't have enough
time anymore. Wishing that life was like before.
Where life was full with colors so beautiful and bright.
Where peace was running through everyone's mind .
Where being free was fought to gain. Where it was meant to be for everyone's sake. The time when everyone treated
one another with love and respect. Where everyone
remember and didn't forget. Where people build towers
to see the cities below. That no one wanted power but
love to show. Where no one cried but smiled.
I guess it only  lasted a while. That's the way the world was, this how it is now. The world keeps going without
a pause. Hurting one another until the world breaks down.
