i cant kill myself
i dont wanna die
i wanna taste the rich flavors of the world
and feel alive

i want the world to stay still
just a minute to find some peace
but even if it did
there is no way i could burden the ones l'd leave

tragically ironic
that the only reason keeping me alive
is part of why i want to die

no matter how selfish i am
consumed by my own demons
there is always that voice in my head
a stubborn disagreement

during my last breath
i'd still be thinking about someone else
prioritising their happiness over mine
thinking of pleasing them
even as i die
