Goodness Of Life

Life is good and we're living free,
Everyday the sun shines bright.
Children play in gardens by the sea,
Rabbits run about full of delight.

Cats and dogs chase each other,
But usually the cats are quicker.
And if not they can climb trees rather,
It's fun watching them go faster.

The earth is our magnificent home,
Beautiful as the entire universe.
Yet we treat it poorly in the places we roam.
Our only home is getting worse.

There's no denying we're at fault,
While we play the world is dying.
Still harmony exist along the asphalt,
Where nature and co is unifying.

A green earth means hope for all,
Not full of dead waste nor ash.
So, for this planet, may we stand tall,
And let us pray without a clash.

The goodness of life is bounteous,
It's abundant as the sky is wide.
We can enjoy the sun as it is plenteous,
So may we bask in it with pride.

And we'll conquer global warming,
Climate change shall be slowed.
It all starts with you and me by believing,
That our only home will implode.

Perforce Mother Earth is in need,
She requires our strict attention.
In all our goodness we can concede,
And give enough to take action.

Charles Bernabi

When I was a young lad I used to go hunting whales with my grandfather. Inspiration and imagination comes from that experience, well actually it's all from my imagination. more…
