Heaven's Gate

I cannot wait , seeing Heaven's Gate
The moment will be , inconceivably great

Will it have on it , a lock and key ?
Or will my soul , unfasten thee

Will Peter be there , to welcome me
Or my guardian Angel , be there to see …

Me smiling through , it's open picket
While handing me , a golden ticket

Will I wonder through , and search to find
The ones that went there , and left behind …

The adored they loved , and yearned to Pray
In hopes they'd be seeing , them there one day

With spirits , angels and saints galore
The guardians now , of Heaven's door

With welcomed arms , reaching out to me
And finding out , what true Glory be

We now are in , the Highest place
All welcomed in , God's Holy Grace

Paradise , Divinity , no terrestrial world
Can show us the measure , of God's Love unfurled

Though some believe , of a heaven on Earth
When Christ came down , men witnessed His Birth

I look at things , through different eyes
And hope and Pray , that there's no surprise ...

That my soul opens , and I cannot wait
That it brings me through , Heaven's Gate
