Doesn't It Make You Wonder?

Doesn't it make you think
This life that we're living
Study the eye that blinks
Or people's constant sinning

Doesn't it bring you to sorrow
To see the hungry child's stare
Makes you want to borrow
Some of its despair

Rebellious tones are voiced down
On the children of today
Small men try to wear the crown
And forget that they should pray
Doesn't it make you wonder
How the human race does wander
