Music Is

Carlie Burdett 1946 (Baird) – 2019 (Temple)

Music is the magic garden where my mind comes to play.

It is the grassy plain over which my imagination gallops unbridled.

It is the gentle breeze which carries the wings of my hopes to the heavens.

It is the sandy beach where my thoughts giggle with cool, wet, gritty delight.

It is the ocean tide whose lilting cadences set the pace for my own heart.

It is the trysting place where my soul pours out its secret longings.

It is the love-bed where my dreams may frolic unreproached.
