Dreams turn into nightmares
Scared to fall asleep
Eyes filling with tears
Falling down my cheeks
Speaking of it to my partner
She hurts and pushes away
Distant and quiet in my time of need
Her heart I want
Her words
Her voice
Her love
Eyes filling with tears again
Why did I tell her
Distance is too hard
Tears have fallen
Heart is hurting
Loneliness is creeping in.
