An Ode to Pandemic

The planet Earth is shaken by invisible enemy
As citizens run amok on the terrains and plains
The fields of maze and millets are unattended
Fruits are overripe and fallen on earth
Pandemic pervades on the planet earth
Men, women and children throbbing to reach their homes
Far away are their soil, village and kins
Cities are dead silent, as antelopes roam on the streets
Citizens of the world stay home longer than before
