Depression Pre 2020

This depression is creeping up on me when I am not even thinking seeking my destruction with it's seduction.

 I sit at the table as words pour from my fingertips so much to do, but my body won't move.
 
I can't control myself anymore and my feet move on their own to the bedroom I own.

Shoe's slip off and I fall down to a sleep so wanted now.
I try to fight this pain but I don't have the might.
I look into the mirror and my eye's reflect no light.
 
As a chill goes down my spine sending me into a fright.
That reflection makes me see my plight, I wish I could go back in time to make things right.
 
I wish I could take flight away from this pain but it remains, clinging to me like a stain, that rain won't wash away.
