Perceiving a Tree

Perceiving a Tree

You shade me from , the heat of the sun
The branches and Earth , are shadows of one

And as you're positioned , in Majesties grace
Perceived existence , is taking it's place

Dissimilarity between , sensation and sound
Metaphysics brings , your roots to the ground

Your leaves sting the air , as they setting in motion
The ringing of our ears , to the their sounds explosion

Oranges, peaches , pears , and pecans
Creating fruit , like nobody can

Tangerines , olives , and don't for get tea
Add to many pleasures , that invigorate me

Saving our lives , through photosynthesis
Bringing life to our lungs , while leaving a kiss

The chords that I play , while on my guitar
Tell the story you bring , with the substance you are

As time reaches on , it is easy to see
That there's more to life , and perceiving a tree
