A victims cry

DDyrotha Todd 1970 (Chicago)

Days of hope of a better future and a tomorrow
Next week month and years to come without
This shameful sorrow and guilt of or why I
May have asked to borrow
Searching for the answers that could rid my
Cancer, no matter how it came to be but to it
Seems to be openly killing me. Hatred and envy
Brought on by welcome mistakes and mere presence and unfortunite cerconstance. Er nights
Where my weary mind,  body sat and days welcomed as well as unwelcome events seemed to overwhelm possible sleep apnea played a roll in my seemly unconciousness....
In shame and unknown horror of the missed doctor visit and knowing my snoring should have alerted authority but the kindness of the faculty and facility just let me lifelessly be.  a cry from a surviving victim of a hope in a better today as well as tomorrow forevermore, dear god mercy even on me  lil dd
