I wonder Why

Why do we know our limits yet reach for the sky,
Desire things we can never buy
Feel so confident in private but in public we are shy
Secretly love someone yet pretend and lie

Why do we get things we never need,
See hungry people but never feed
Rule people's live by our creed
Pretend to be holy but sin in our deed

Why do we get attracted only by looks
Stuck into the mobile, when you could read some books
Find it yummy when ordered but never appreciate what mother cooks
Amazed by mighty rivers but ignore smaller brooks

Why do the people you care about the most always make you hurt
Try and be nice but you are judged as a Flirt
You always give them priority but they treat you like dirt
All this makes you feel it's better to remain an introvert

Why do people forget you in their good times and remember you in their misery
They are important to you, to them you are auxiliary
Even if you consider them the centre of your universe, you don't exit even in their periphery
They only have time for you at their liberty

Why do we ignore people with hearts of gold
even when things go sour or go cold
Only they will exist for you to hold,
their worth will never be realised they will always be trolled

Why do people make fun, but can never take a joke.
Never accepted as someone who will listen to you and soak
If you ever need them they wear an invisibility cloak
How some people are rich at heart even when they are actually broke

Why is black coke acceptable but not black skin.
While some waste food when many search it in the bin
Fat people are obnoxious and beautiful people are thin
People search for happiness outside when it comes from within

Why some breeds are accepted but not a stray
Good things will be overlooked and the bad will always outweigh
The ones who love the most are the ones to pay
weekend is always celebrated but never a Monday.

Why the ones who love you should be pushed to the brink
The ones you love may disappear in a blink
why something are never understood unless written in blood and ink
There are so many questions to which answers we need to think.
