Ancient History Poem by Fozia Bibi ©️

Times have changed.
Nations upon different generations have changed.

From decades ago, taking it back to the ancient days.
When people used to follow their own rules.
And follow their own ways.

They were left wondering blindly,
And heedlessly.
They were left astray.

When those times were rough,
When the governors of the city were corrupted.

Corruption after corruption and endless disruptions, taking over the city like a disease.

When the ruler would order their nation to kill all the innocents.

When the people of the city would worship stone idols and associate other partners with God when it was God who created them.

Now look at the times now,
A different nation,
A whole new generation.
Which is still on going,
Conflicted and never ending stories from the politics.

We're living in a 3rd world democracy.
When the the truth is concealed,
And all the lies are being revealed.

When the people have mistaken the lies to be the truth, yet we are still living in denial.

And those with a voice are not given a chance to speak because they know that if they spoke the truth, the truth will eventually get them killed.

The ending times are getting nearer,
And all these times,
I've been seeing things clearly.

I just hope that when it all ends, and once the truth has been revealed.

We'll all be standing together as one nation
And not against each other.
