Seasons

Brenda De Jesus 1970 (Brooklyn)

Spring came into bloom like the first time we spoke

By summer our friendship turned to fun and laughter

In the fall we became distant lovers

Then winter blew a cold aggressive closure,
What ended our love
what shattered our dreams

Spring soon arrives will we speak again or has winter frozen your heart so that it won’t melt till summer...

I will stand by as you become the person I once knew!
