Fog

Every now and then
a fog surfaces.
The hazy entity,
which only seems to get darker every time it appears,
seems to have taken over.
Causing even the clearest of orbs to cloud,
and the most peaceful spirits collapse.
There’s no sign of tomorrow.
The caliginous fog isn’t to be cast away.
No matter the time,
every day
the fog only gets darker,
and darker
until there’s no sunshine left.
