Jaguar

Splattered with black paint
big black splotches
though she is no saint
while climbing up a tree, she looks for little notches

Stalking through the night
crouching very low
with very little light
with no light to show

Her dusty blonde coat
with a large spot on her knee
her claws will leave a note
while she claws at a tree

Jumping from limb to limb
while shes looking for a snack
then when she jumps through the leaves, she swims
as she jumps to attack

Bystanding hogs
will be her dinner
eating it and leaving the rest under a log
watching the sun shimmer
