China Just Walks Away (Covid-19)

I finish my work and then get ready to go, I peer outside it sure is a beautiful day.
We drive to the hospital, many thoughts I let go, just looking for the right words to say.

The doctor tells us what we already know, only wishing he can give us a little good news to bear.
We walk down that lonely hall filled with doctors, nurses and staff, passing slowly one at a time, they all know why we are there.

I can see I am not very brave, I think to myself I do not want to go in, this will be my last time to look upon.
Sadness and hurt is all that I feel, God knows this was not deserved, I don’t know how I could have let this go on.

Our answer is now clear, so very clear, this hurts down deep so much, Covid-19 has destroyed a life that I love.
As we leave this room in my final good bye, I ask God to take this loving soul and place it with him above.

One thing I know for sure, if this sinful virus would have started in my country (usa), the whole world would have rightly expected us to be there and pay.
Why did this happen, so many families all over this world severely hurt, so many lives lost and it seems very clear to me, China just walks away.
